Kathryn Gisi

What do you teach and what to expect?

I teach vinyasa that pulls heavily from the Iyengar tradition. I love really intricate and nuanced cues and subtle body movements! I’m heavy into alignment, long spicy holds and yogic philosophy.

How did you end up in the Flathead Valley?

My family and I consider ourselves climate refugees! (Only half joking.) We were looking for a place that has seasonal shifts, thrives on community and embraces the outdoors. We’re so grateful to be here.

Where would we see you outside of LOVE?

I work full-time, remotely as a public relations and media strategist for a creative agency, so I’m a regular character at a coffee shop with my laptop. I’m working on a (painfully) slow renovation to a mountain house, so I’m often covered in paint or stalking Marketplace. I love to hike, enjoy the valley’s lakes and get outside with my four-year-old daughter, Clementine. I serve on the board for The Abbie Shelter, too!

Surprising fun fact about you?

I was a journalist for ten years. I still see the word through that lens and that period of my life influences me a lot.

6 word bio - that's right 6 words to describe yourself?

My Motto: Discover self, discover others.
